This time of year when the Canada Parks campsite reservations open is always a rush for me. It’s the time where summer seems so close (because you have to book everything soon) but so far away (because it’s literally JUST the first week of January).
When Canada Parks Reservations Open For Alberta & B.C
What You Need To Know Before Reservations
For the 2019 season Whistlers Campground in Jasper is closed for upgrades. I know, I ‘m sad too but there are so many other amazing places for you to camp with your family!
If you’re booking your campsite online it’s important to note that you need to have an account on the Canada Parks website! Set this up beforehand – I learned the hard way.
You also need a credit card for booking online. Last time I tried Visa Debit it didn’t work so a legit credit card is best. You can reserve online through this link: www.pc.gc.ca/en/voyage-travel/reserve
If you’re planning to call in your reservation you still need a credit card and the number is 1-877-737-3783.
