Riding the bus to and from school can be intimidating for anyone whether it’s a school bus or ETS and this is where the First Riders event can help you.
Edmonton First Riders Event – Aug 22nd
Aimed at making the transition for students (and parents) in the Edmonton area more comfortable and familiar with their bus riding experience, it’s the perfect program for children entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 7 who are transitioning to ETS buses.
This event takes place at Northlands Park (112 Avenue NW and Wayne Gretzky Drive NW) on August 22nd with both daytime and evening times that you can choose which are:
- 1:00 pm
- 1:30 pm
- 2:00 pm
- 2:3opm
- 5:30 pm
- 6:00 pm
- 6:30 pm
- 7:00 pm
Registration for the First Riders program is required and is open until August 15th.
This is the 14th year that the First Riders program has run and is a great resource for you to climb on board to help your child learn to ride the bus safely and with confidence, and ask any questions that you or your child may have.
