As businesses across Edmonton have started to reopen, many families have been anticipating the Edmonton Valley Zoo reopening.
Starting on June 15th, you can visit the zoo, but there are some measures that will be put into place to help with physical distancing. This includes:
- Limiting the capacity of the zoo to 50%
- Moving all ticket purchases to online-only, with only 90 tickets per 30 minutes
- One-way flow to support physical distancing throughout the zoo
- Encouraging visitors to wear a face mask, especially indoors
Currently, the zoo’s online ticket purchasing system is not available as they are making changes to be able to accommodate the new guidelines they have put into place. This will also help to ensure that membership pass holders, as well as those with tickets, bought prior to closure are able to also use them.
Download The Edmonton Valley Zoo App!
Did you know that there is now an app that you can use while visiting the zoo? There you will find an interactive zoo map, details on animal talk times and more. The app is available through both the App Store or Google Play.
