One of the things that my kids love to do is to decorate rocks and hide them in various places that we go to explore. We’ve found and hidden rocks in malls, in Banff and Jasper while exploring, along some beaches and trails in B.C., and most recently Mill Creek Ravine South.
Searching For Painted Rocks At Mill Creek Ravine South
While there are many places in and around Edmonton that you can find and hide painted rocks, Mill Creek Ravine South has been our favourite place so far. Throughout the trails that are intertwined in the off-leash dog park painted rocks can be found all over.
For people looking for that hiking in the forest feeling, Mill Creek Ravine South is pretty breathtaking with its various bridges, valleys, and greenery.
Want to search for or hide some painted rocks, or just explore somewhere new with the family? The easiest way to get to this area is to park on 74ave and 89st and access the trails from there.
