This Christmas you can book a live video chat with the jolly man himself, Santa Claus!
Like many families, every year our Christmas traditions include a visit with Santa. While traditions might not be carried out the same as previous years, the good news is that you can still book some quality time with Santa and here’s how!
Live Video Chat with Santa
First, you will need to purchase your personal Santa key! Available for purchase from September 1st– October 15th, the cost is $20 USD (just over $25 in Cdn) for a 5-minute call. They sell out quickly, and also make a great gift!
Starting on November 1st is when you can schedule your live video chat with Santa! Don’t forget to add special details, names, etc. to make the visit extra magical.
Once you’ve scheduled your visit you will be provided with a link to follow on the date and time of your scheduled live video chat with Santa.
From the comfort (and safety) of your own home, your whole family can enjoy the visit! Even better you can relive your magical memory for a long as you want as your visit with Santa will also be recorded and sent to you as well!

About Our Experience
Just recently Finley and I had the chance to try out the live video chat with Santa and it was so magical!
In the past, our experience with Santa videos was the pre-set, pre-recorded ones where it mentions their name, gender, and a few other details but that’s it. This was so much better and I was pleasantly surprised.
A couple of days before your visit you will be sent an email with all the details to log on. The instructions are user friendly and easy to follow so when it comes time to log on to chat with Santa, there are no technical surprises.
You will also be asked to enter information about the child (children) participating which includes names, exciting events over the last few months, nicknames, gift requests etc prior to your visit.
If you’re looking for quality time with Santa this year, this is definitely the way to go!
*If you are using a phone that runs on iOS, you will need to be able to access Safari for it to be compatible.
How Your Booking Helps Locally
All funds raised from the live video chats with Santa go towards the True Start Foundation, a new Edmonton not-for-profit. Their focus is to help families through programs such as the Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund and their Affordable Housing Program.
What even more exciting is that Winter Wonder Forest has also partnered with 630 CHED Santas Anonymous to help raise funds to put new toys under the tree for Edmonton’s most vulnerable families this Christmas!
