The list might be smaller this year but there are still a few Edmonton Area Christmas light displays & events taking place.
Edmonton Area Christmas Light Displays
Winter Wonder Forest – Nov 27th – January 3rd
This year the Edmonton in Rainbow Valley Campground will be transformed into a beautiful drive-through Christmas light display. Proceeds raised from this event will go towards the True Start Foundation.
Glow Gardens – Postponed Tentatively
Glow Gardens back again for 2020!
Cost: $100/family pass
Magic of Lights – Nov 20th – Jan 2nd
Multiple holiday themes come to life with over 1 Million sparkling lights! At every turn, and in every direction, the magical route is overflowing with spectacular light displays and animations including an amazing 200′ light tunnel
Cost: Car passes start at $25
Kingsway Drive-Thru Holiday Parade – Nov 21st
From the comfort of your own vehicle, you can enjoy over 30-holiday lights displays.
Cost: Donation of $10 per vehicle, with proceeds going to the Food Bank!
Lite Up the Nite Christmas Festival – Nov 25th – 29th
Zoominescence – Nov 26th – Jan 3rd
The festival’s vision is to celebrate light, artistry, imagination and the strong spirit of our community in the winter. Taking place every Thursday-Sunday starting Nov 26th, join us for an evening of light, animals, skating, hot chocolate and fun for the whole family!
Fort Sask Light Up – Nov 27th
Sip hot chocolate or apple cider while you listen to carolers sing. Say hello to jolly old Saint Nick and take a stroll through the Enchanted Forest. The mayor will read “T’was the Night Before Christmas” just before officially switching on the lights of the holiday season!
Merry & Bright Light Parade – Nov 28th
Christmas in the Park is proud to announce this year’s Merry & Bright, 2020 Light Parade, bringing the festive feeling of Christmas in the Park to the whole town.
Celebration of Lights – Nov 29th
This year’s celebration will be a drive-thru event! Enjoy a LED tree show, interactive lighting, holiday music, holiday inflatables, and friendly characters, as well as a special appearance from Santa.
Leduc Country Lights – Dec 1st – Jan 3rd
Take a stroll through the many Christmas light displays which are set up around Leduc West Antique Society.
Christmas at Bob’s – Opens December 1st
Every year Christmas at Bob’s is a favourite for many! This corner house is decorated with many beautiful light displays and photo ops!
Candy Cane Lane – December 11- January 1
Candy Cane Lane is back for another year. This year those visiting are encouraged to drive in their vehicle to help encourage physical distancing.
