Put The Kiwanis Safety City Drop-In On Your List Of Things To Do This Summer

During the summer we like to be out exploring and experiencing as much as possible so when I found out that Kiwanis Safety City has a summer drop-in program, I knew it had to be added to our list of things to do (and yours too).

Safety City

For $7 kids 4-7yrs old can visit Kiwanis Safety City, learn the 7 Steps to Safety and ride the battery operated scooters around the small version of Walmart, Tim Hortons with morning and afternoon options available.

Safety City Summer 2019 Dates & Times

July

  • July 2,3,5,8,9,12 & 31 – 10am-11am
  • July 10,11,29,& 30 – 1pm-2pm
  • July 15,18, & 19 – 2pm-3pm

August

  • August 1,2, & 6 – 10am-11am
  • August 12,13,15, & 16 – 1pm-2pm
  • August 1,2,6, & 9 – 2pm-3pm

Kids attending must bring a CSA approved helmet to ride on the scooters and drop-in is available to 15 kids on a first come first serve basis.

To get more information about Kiwanis Safety City as well as other kids programs offered in the summer go to the Alberta Safety Council website.
