During the summer we like to be out exploring and experiencing as much as possible so when I found out that Kiwanis Safety City has a summer drop-in program, I knew it had to be added to our list of things to do (and yours too).

Safety City

For $7 kids 4-7yrs old can visit Kiwanis Safety City, learn the 7 Steps to Safety and ride the battery operated scooters around the small version of Walmart, Tim Hortons from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Dates that this takes place are:

July 5th, 6th,12th,13th, 26th & 27th

August 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 23rd, & 24th

Kids attending must bring a CSA approved helmet to ride on the scooters and drop-in is available to 15 kids on a first come first serve basis.

To get more information about Kiwanis Safety City as well as other kids programs offered in the summer go to the Alberta Safety Council website
