Explore The Magical Fable Gardens In Morinville AB

A couple of years ago I remember watching a news segment about a local builder and contractor from Morinville who was building a fairytale-inspired property in Morinville as his legacy project. This place is known as Fable Gardens and is home to Fable daycare for children under 5, has a beautiful garden and hall for weddings, and also offers tours.

The fairy tale theme of the building is carried throughout and features sloped ceilings, angled walls, custom floors with animals, handpainted murals, and fable inspired doorways.

Upstairs you can get a closer look at the fairytale-like roofs and also check out the room that has several 3D paintings which are done by the internationally renowned 3D artist Joe Hill. In the room, there is also a hidden princess room and warrior room for you to explore as well as a hand-carved table and chairs.

Outside is the garden area for you to walk around and enjoy the beautiful greenery and more. Make sure you look around on the roof to see if you can find the giant footprints and also go to the water fountain area to take some beautiful pictures. There are also benches and some picnic tables to enjoy the warm weather.

Pricing for Fable Garden Tours

There is a cost to tour fable gardens which is:

  • $14/adults
  • $12/ seniors
  • $9 for children 5-114 years
  • $7 for children 2-4 years

Yes, the admission is expensive however it was an expense that I was willing to pay due to the love of the detail and uniqueness of what Mr. Chauvet created. He passed away this July (2020) and while I never met him, his talent has inspired both myself and my husband.

You can find Fable Gardens at 10010 -101 Avenue in Morinville, AB. For more information about booking a tour or hosting an event at this magical location, you can also visit them online at fablegardens.ca

The Granville @bambinigroup Centre is now open! O The Granville @bambinigroup Centre is now open! One of my favourite features when you walk into the centre is the open piazza which is filled with greenery and lights that can mimic the sky outside. Not only is this a great space for children to enjoy throughout their day, but also one that was created with community in mind. From parents group to well-being classes and more @bambinigroup wants to bring families together. #AD #yeg #yegkids #yeggers #yegfamily #yegmoms #yegre #edmontonmoms #edmonton #edmontonfamily #edmontonkids #bambini #reggioinspired #childcare #family #yegblogger
